Steve et al,

If you want, I can pick up some of the lures you want.. Although we will be in SC 12/26..

Hopefully bite will be hot and you need more lures lemme know.. We got Cabellas & Sportsman's Warehouse, so their should be plenty..

I plan to cast 'Le Plume' so I need to research a 'plume' that matches what you are using..

I read about what is going on in SC and just wanna say "Heck with it, I am outta here"..

What about YT's.. Any action??

Save us 2 chairs for Happy Hour at Froggy's 12/26...

Anyone reading these threads and needs ANYTHING (except cash, see Steve & Craig C. for that) let me know and we will bring it for you.. Of course a small carrying charge, soft drinks at Froggy's...

Steve,

I have a few extras in SC and will be there Friday; of course you can't have any until you pay back your ballyhoo debt!

Steve-

I picked up a few packages of the Storm lures...I bought them out.  Jesse says hello and said that he will be getting more stuff in in a few weeks.  I shall be at the Marina Real docks next Friday morning about 7 a.m., should you want to meet up...I will be the guy with absolutely no idea where he is or what he's doing...

Hope to meet you then...

Cristobal

Harry, please be more explicit on your identification, I think the 3 lines above your name refers to me, only a couple weeks different. Hope to try to figure it out starting the 30th. Don't catch 'em all. I'll be asking your advice by then. Ron ;)

I have two Shimano spinning rods/reels, first class "corvina/sierra specials" if anyone is interested. One is a Tallus 6'6" 12-20# rod with a Spheros 5000FA reel, the other is a Tallus 7' 12-25# rod with a Stradic 6000FG reel. They are like new. I have them in SC, email or PM if interested.

Harry, sorry I made you misunderstand, I wish I were an old salt, I'm more of a buffalo chip here in the high plains of Wyoming. When you said you'd be the one who was lost and didn't know what you were doing, I thought it must be me, because I have no clue, but at this stage of life I want to be a fast learner so I can enjoy what I may have missed. By the time we arrive on Dec. 29, you will be the old salt and give me some pointers. Have a great trip, hope to say hello in person. Ron

Hola!

Got to San Carlos at 5:15 and headed straight for the "corvina hole". Before it got dark, there was a non-stop bite and I landed 5 out of 7 I hooked. One may be the biggest I've caught - I have to figure out how to get a picture loaded off the camera to the computer here. Tide was really low and the fish were stacked up at the entrance to the marina - WHAT FUN!

Craig, What were the words to that song? "Rub it in, rub it in". Only kidding, always gets the blood pumping up here. Continue on, pictures are awaited. Ron

Okay Craig! Way to stuff those minnows in a Playmate cooler to make them look bigger! ;)

We had a good weekend in Penasco. I'll get some pics up in a report this evening after I get a chance to download them from my camera.
