Decided to quit chasing Marlin and Dorado and we were told that Red Snapper were biting off Honeymoon Island at Social Security. So Tuesday Sonny and I took off with visions of whole deep Fried Snapper dancing in our heads. Well let me tell you, we were not disapointed. We fished for 2 1/2 hours and it was non stop action. We caught mostly Red Snapper but also got some nice Trigger fish and some large sea Perch. Guess what we are having for supper tonight?

I am an English sardine fishing grammar instructor - did you mean to say "Who'd like Red Snapper?", or "Who likes Red Snapper?".....

Is it "For Whom The Bell Tolls" or "For Whom The Bells Toll"????
Was fishing 20 pound test with 3 hooks, 12 oz sinker and the bait was Squid. All fish were caught right on the bottom. The minute you got down you got bites. Great day of fishing!!!

Randy: found no Red Snapper. Looks like they moved. Am going to try again on Tuesday.
Boy, they were outstanding blackened on the grill! Scored both side 3 times then brushed on canola oil and some garlic salt. Stuffed them with diced potatoes, onions, tomatoes and mushrooms. Cooked about 7 minutes a side.

Hi Mel: Sorry I haven't gotten back to you about fishing. Sounds like you got skunked the other day for snapper. I'm very interested in going and your price is right up my alley. I'll call you later today after you get back from fishing. I'm staying at #4 21 Villa Hermosa. I asked Barb at Casa Amigos realty and she thinks she knew where you lived because I told her that you lived next to 4 Bahia, one of her rental units. I drove past it and saw your name over your carport. Anyway, I should look at the place for next spring.
