I encourage all of you to visit http://www.seawatch.org/newsroom/proposed_regulations_sample_letter.php
and send a letter to the Mexican officials who have the power to stop this.
The effects of this shark norma if implemented will be devastating, not just to the fishery but to the economy of all of the areas surrounding the Sea of Cortez. Here is an example of the level of destruction this type of fishing can do.
