I'm looking into a outrigger set up for my boat. I'm thinking that I'll go with the taco grand slam 350 top mount. I was just wondering what others are using 15' or 18' poles. I have a 23 foot Wellcraft.

For the size of your boat, go with the 15 ft. riggers. They'll be plenty.

I had the same Taco setup (with Sportslam mounts on the T-top) on my previous boat, a 23 ft. center console. I just bought and am installing the same setup on my current boat, a 29 ft. walkaround cat.

The reason I say this is that if you get rocking and rolling in a beam sea, the longer the rigger, the more you'll have a chance of dipping one of them in the sea, especially with a T-top mount where you'll tend to have the riggers extended nearly flat from the T-top, rather than extended at a big angle, as you would with side mounts. I never dipped mine, but did come close once or twice.
