Oysters and clams are grown from suspended bags in Oregon, Ireland, Florida, China, Vietnam and several other places.
The market is regional as they must be very fresh.
There are no oysters grown in Mexico. Should there be?
Who will help find out?

| Same in Puerto Penasco. There is an oyster farm in the first estuary south of town. You can go down there and buy them fresh; they'll shuck 'em and serve 'em on the spot.

Maybe we need an oyster farm in San Carlos. Run by a couple of ex-long liners of course.

There is or was one that operated in the Estuary of Soldiers behind Condos Pilar. Not sure how big an operation that was or if it is still ongoing. Maybe Vince can add more details.
