Just returned from renewing our fishing license and boat permit at the Oficina de Convencions y Visitantes (Convention and Visitors Center) located L37 before Froggys (white building) on the access road. Hours are 10:00-5:00 Monday thru Saturday. Pleasant experience, friendly personal and no paperwork fees or trips to the bank. Took my expired copies and they used them to renew. The monies paid are supposed to remain in Sonora but that has not been verified as yet.

Are you referencing San Carlos??
I understood the PESCA office was the place to buy licenses & permits??
Where is Froggy's compared to the Creston Motel???

The Convention and Visitor office is an additional outlet for these permits. Pesca office still does them as well. If you pull off the boulevard onto the lateral access road at the very first opportunity, just past the Best Western and Charlies Rock, the office is immediately on your right. Froggys is further down the lateral. If you get to to Froggys you missed it.
