We stay at Condos Pilar and I can observe when the jellyfish are in (dead on the beach). So far we have seen only a handful of the tiny "men of war" (the ones that are translucent blue and about the size of a half dollar). I haven't seen one yet on the water (we fished about 8 days over the last 3 weeks) but there are quite a few "parachute" type jellyfish in the blue water (15-20 miles out). these are about 8-12 inches in diameter, but don't seem to be any problem to us when retrieving lines (unlike the men of war when they are heavy in the July/August timeframe. My experience has been that the men of war don't start showing up until late June or early July.

I went swimming several times last week and didn't see any. Probably not until early July.

| We've seen the small blue ones on Catch 22 Beach, the beach in front of Marina Real and a school of them at the entrance into Marina Real the other day -- not thick yet, but here...
