All boats reporting good dorado fishing and the weights are getting a lot larger. My boats, Andale ll and "too much fun" went out today for half day charters and came back in with 4 dorado a piece. That was our limit because of only two anglers per boat.
Yesterday my boats found a dead seal and loaded up.
Seas have been just absolutely wonderful.
We are not keeping anything less than 15 lbs had one today and a couple yesterday 30 plus and most being low 20's. Have heard of bigger. A friend of mine that has been fishing here for 20 years lost one close to the boat that he said was the biggest dorado he had ever seen.. Not a fish story from this guy.
We are using plastics and feathers just in case we run by a tuna.
Good fishing and most all good catching guys
tight lines

Bob,
That sounds fabulous! Has anyone seen or hooked any tuna this year? I have not heard them mentioned at all? Maybe the dorado ate the all, hence the jumbo size!
Can't wait!!!!!!

Very honorable to release the ones under 15, Bob. Especially the females.
I hope good karma follows you all season.
Have any of the dreaded gill net pangas made their appearance offshore yet?

| Hello, I am planning on coming down the last week of June, We have a 27ft. Searay and want to launch at San Carlos, leave our truck and trailer for a week. Can you give me a good place to launch and also a good place to leave the truck and trailer? I would appreciate it. Sounds like the Dorado are in!! That is great, we went out of Keno Bay last year and want to try San Carlos. Dave At Pescatore.

Launch at either Marina and check with the respective offices on where to park the rig.

We don't have "gill nets" they are usually in the fresh water lakes. We darn sure have the long liners though and yes they have been spotted. Not as many as last year though, knock on wood.
I have not heard of any tuna being seen or caught in San Carlos waters.

For Pescatore
Are you going to day trip from San Carlos and rent a slip? If so, suggest you contact the marinas now regarding slip space and parking the rig. Their contact info is on the main web site under Marine Sevices.

| We are not planning on mooring at the Marina, just launching and leaving our truck and trailer. Thanks for the advice. Dave

| Sorry to say but it seems that the Dorado fishing has slowed to a trickle the last few days.
