Not too early to start making plans....
4th Annual "12 hours of Salvando Vidas Mountain Bike Race" San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico
May 24th This mountain bike race race event is held in San Carlos over U.S. Memorial Day weekend May 24th.
It is a full night race (to beat the heat). The race will start at 8:00 pm and continue through the night until 8:00am following morning. Festivities will begin earlier in the day at the staging area.
The course is a nice, mostly single track 7.5 mile loop. This is a typical desert course with rocks, arroyos, cactus, cattle 'hazards'... so a true mountain bike is recommended.
Race categories: Solo, teams of 2-person male, 4-person male and 4 person co-ed.
The weather is expected to be very nice during this time of year. The race is near the beach with convenient camping for a family friendly environment. For more information, you can reply to this forum topic.... Or additional info and registration direct from contact race organizer Manuel Espriu,
