My long time friend and former business partner, Susan Fitch, who has been a frequent guest in my home, has been missing for 2 months. She was last living with an aquaintance (male) in San Juan Di Lima in Michocan. When last seen she said she was going to meet her new love in Acapulco and packed a suitcase, took $15,000.00 in USD cash and hopped a bus. She left things that she WOULD NOT normally leave ie: her computer and cell phone and her new pickup. We feel there is foul play involved and have reported this to the Comandate of the Sonora Police who in turn reported it to Michocan. They sent 10 detective to the friends ranch but found no evidence of Susan. She had an obligation to house and pet sit for a mutual friend here in San Carlos and was due March 10th. Susan would not miss an obligation and she was looking forward to it.
What we need is to borrow a tape recorder that can record phone conversations. When talking to the American Embassy we sometimes miss phone numbers etc. We want to be able to go over the tapes.
Susan's Desription:
Susan was born 4/16/48 and is a 5'4" blonde who weighs approximately 160 pounds. She has a faded tatoo of an eagle above her left breast. She also has a tatoo of "Tweety Bird" on one ankle and a rose on the other. She recently had a large dolphin tatooed on her right hip. She has a large scar on the lower back of her head and her back is heavely scarred from a auto accident as a teenager. If you see Susan or have any information please contact me:

Susan Fitch missing in Mexico. Is there any place of posting this on Mexican boards in the area she was supposed to be in? Susan would definately be one of the people that everyone would know wherever she went. Are you sure of the location?? as I thought she was buying a condo? but that was not the name of the town??
I am trying to locate photos I have of her. Do you have any? That would be a help?
What about CNN as that seems to be Worldwide? Nancy Grace?
Please help and let us know what to do? What does one do in a situation like this?
Ideas anyone?

We have photos of her taken in January. She moved to San Juan De Lima in the State of Michoacan about a year ago and was living with a guy named Randy Ashcraft. Suzy worked for Randy's mom on the fair circuit. She went in with Randy on a land deal investing $50,000.00 US. In October she told us the property was sold and they each made over $200k. She bought a 24' SeaRay from Marine world in October and towed it down there. The police cannot find the boat. She left her computer and cell phone. She NEVER goes anyplace without them. The last time she was heard from by any of us was a January 13th e-mail. Randy says the last he saw her was 8 weeks ago when she took off. We don't believe him.

Where did the police find the cell phone and the computer? Did she have a Banamex account ? Have contacted some people south of us and will send you the information that they sent me. I also picked up a photo of Suzie and showed it around to some friends tonight. Think we should get a poster made. Do you have a good one? I will be happy to work on making one up.

| Cell phone and computer and truck were at Randy's ranch in San Jaun de Lima. Everything is being handled through the Commandante's office in Michoacan. The State DEpartment and the US Embassy have been notified. My daughter talked to the FBI. I have contacted CNN. We have a photo from Januatry 13th. A poster isn't necessary as she is not in this area. she was last seen in San Juan de Lima heading, supposedly, to Acupulco. We don't think she ever left the ranch.

| I've known him for 8 years. He is in his late 30's, grossly overweight and outwardly gay. Susan woks for his mother on the fair circuit. He invited her to spend the off season on his ranch in San Juan de Lima

| We have contacted the State Department, the US Embassy, The FBI and President Fox' office in Mexico City. The State Police in Michoacan are still investigating. I know she has been killed and I know who did it. The problem is the body and evidence. All the evidence is circumstantial but it all points to one person. The big question is what happened to all her money and what happened to the 24' boat she towed down there that she bought here in October? The boats missing as is her money. (over 200k)

So what is the latest news on this story? Someone needs to update us regularly. I can't believe more isn't being done if this woman is really missing. Maybe she decided to start a new life? Still waiting for an update, and a pic of her. Somebody please post one of her on the site.
Also, this is to Mel Klein, how do you know Randall Ashcraft? What is your connection to him, and why do you suspect him...which you have alluded to in your posts?
PS. I have searched the internet for "susan fitch" and there are several of them. Which one is she? Is she the "handbag designer" or the one with the "phd?" There are more. I'm trying to help, but need more info.

Some answers to questions. I have known this Randy for 8 years Him and his mother were vendors on the Western Fair circuit. Randy was tired of the fair circuit and had some property in Michoacan and decide to move there full time. Since I closed up our business (Suzy was my partner) Randy asked her if she would want to work with his mother and she agreed. When the fair season was over Randy told her to come down and help him on the ranch. He was also building a Hotel in San Juan De Lima.. since Suzy loved Mexico she agreed and stayed with him. All the circumstantial evidence points to him: to wit.
Suzy was in San Carlos in October and agreed to come back March 10th to house and dog sit a mutual friend's home while they sailed for two months. At the same time she bought a 24' Bayliner from Marine Mart and towed it South. This friend started trying to contact Suzy towards the end of January to confirm that Suzy was coming to San Carlos. The were unable to reach her. Around the beginning of April they found Randy's phone number and they called him. He told them he hadn't seen her since the middle of January. She came home from a vacation in Puerto Vallarta and told Randy she met the love of her life and was going to meet him in Acapulco. She proceeded to pack one bag, took $15,000.00 in cash and had Randy take her to the bus station. We asked Randy why he did not report her missing. His response was he tried but the Comandante said she has to be reported missing in Acapulco. She left her cell phone, her computor, which she would never do because she was an addicted slot machine gambler on line often spending 8 hours a day playing the slots. She also left truck. Suzy never went anywhere without her cell phone and computor and as far as her packing a small bag, Suzy and I went to Guadalajara for 10 days and she packed 4 hugh suitcases. When she was here in October she told us she went in with Randy on a land investment and they sold the property and each made $200,000.00. When we asked Randy for copies of the papers he avoided the subject. HE DID NOT EVEN KNOW SUZY"S LAST NAME, Haesloop-Fitch. Wouldn't she have to sign papers? Where's the money? The boat is also missiing. When Randy went to L.A. the week after we contacted him he stopped in to see another mutual aqaintence and told him he just refinanced a hotel for gays he owned in downtown L.A. and took out $200,000.00. Is he trying to cover his tracks? Where is the nearly $300,000.00 Suzy had from the sale of her house? She gets her mail at another friends in Rio Vista Az near Nogales. In ccontacting this party he told us her bills are piling up. As I have Power of Attorney I instructed him to open all the bills and credit card statement and see if there was any activity after January 18th. He did and there has been non. When we contacted the State Police Comandante here he told us the missing person report is placed in the area she was last seen. He contacted his counterpart in San Juad De Lima Michoacan and the next day 10 detectives decended on Randy's home and searched the whole area. Nothing was found.
That is why I think Randy killed her and the motive was money.
