|
planning a trip for around april/may 2010 for a group of motorcyclists. our last trip took us to los barilles and the buena vista resort, so if you know that area you know what we like. restauraunt on premises, fishing , pool etc. looking for your opinion on the areas decent hoels, ( we don't need fancy, just clean and reasonable), and if april/ may is a good time. we like to fish, and scuba. last group size was 17.

I recomend the MarinaTerra, It will be perfect for your group. There is a very good restaurant on site. Plus it is easy walking distance to The Marina Cantina and Ruby Wine Bar both have very good food and drink specials. And the people that run those places are wonderfull, okay they are friends of mine but still great places to go.
There is a dive shop next to the cantina and for fishing Catch 22 is also at the marina, Steve and Fernando are first class people. Also San Carlos Aquotic Adventures can provide even more things to do and Bryan is a great fellow also. And getting married today!

suggestions as to which is better for San Carlos weather? fishing? diving?

| I suggest renting the Marina Terra Condos. You get much more for your money. There are generally many available. They share the lobby with the Marina Terra Hotel. There are two pools for the condos. You can park your bikes in the Private Hotel parking for $5/day. For example, our condo (3BR/2 1/2 BA) has a king, queen, 2 doubles, and an inflatable queen, full kitchen, and the most beautiful view in San Carlos (obvious opinion, but true!). It rents for much less than the hotel for a week. It is available for all dates mentioned above.
