Is normal (non-signature) envelope mail delivered to the home address in SC?
Curious as a Father's day card never made it, yet signature stuff and parcels have been promptly delivered by the guy on the motorcycle.
Might they hold regular letters at the P.O. for pickup?
Wouldn't they just leave it in the door/screen if I was not at home at the time?
I mean I get like 3 letters/cards per year...not like I wanna loose out on even ONE of them, LoL
Thanks,
Dom

Ok, seems no one gets mail through the normal Mexican mail system on this board!
Fine. Can someone tell me where the post office is located? I guess I gotta go down and ask them.
Thanks.

| The guy on the motorcycle brings mail my mailbox on my front porch. I don't get much but I get water, electric, phone and bank statements. Actually I think water and electric are delivered by the providers not the mail service but i receive them in my mail box. The post office is next to Hambone. Thanks Bill,
I also get the phone and water stuck in my door by someone just walking the neighborhood; they must be pretty loose on mail laws here!
I don't have a mail box, so think I will go down and check with them on what the rules de jour are...

We live in the Ranchitos and get our phone bill regularly delivered in our mail box. The mailman even puts up the flag on the box so we know there's mail!

Well, it sounds like the system is at least working in some cases.
How about normal first class mail from NoB? Normal delivery time 2 weeks or so?

| Sometime two weeks, sometimes three or four. I seem to get letters from Europe easier than from the USA - Happy forth of July!

Dang, Hard to getta little postal luv here, huh?
Gotta mailbox in Tucson, but would be nice to get letter mail reliably here; the delay isn't a big deal, but it should SHOW UP.
Happy 4th to you as well; stay away from the M80's

| That's what Woody Allen said, "90% of success in life is just showing up."

LoL, that's a good one...put another way: "Surviving birth means you have a 90% chance of success in life"? After all, you did 'show up'
