Has anyone taken the back road from Rocky Point to Caborca? There is a ton of detours from Caborca to Lukeville on 2, and I'd like to revisit RP before heading on south to Kino this Fall. It looks like the road is paved on my Sonora map, but I wanted to make sure since I'd be towing a small trailer.

Hook, Thanks for the lead and info. I had another guy respond to my question also on another thread who had driven his large RV to Caborca from PP and said it was fine. That's good news because we are thinking of visiting El Golfo and revisiting PP on the way to Kino this Sept.
