1. Department of Homeland Security Traveler Redress Inquiry Program (DHS TRIP)

DHS TRIP provides a single point of contact for individuals who have inquiries or seek resolution regarding difficulties they experienced during their travel screening process including:

·       Continuously referred to additional (secondary) screening

·       Denied or delayed airline boarding.

·       Denied or delayed entry into and exit from the U.S. at the port of entry                                  or border checkpoint

·       Various other issues/concerns.

2. CBP Customer Service Center

The Customer Service Center is able to provide travelers with accurate uniform information about CBP’s regulations and procedures to help them in their travel needs.  The Customer Service Center responds to travelers’ general or specific questions or concerns about their CBP inspection.  You can contact us in one or three ways:


    For telephone inquiries within the U.S. call, (877) 227-5511 or for international queries call

    (703) 526- 4200 during the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

    To email CBP, visit the website and click on the “Questions” tab at: http://www.cbp.gov
