We used to eat at the Mar de Cortez on a regular basis & for some reason just got away from it - wanted to pass the word along, we went there and had a really great meal - excellent pepper steak, good service - a really nice experience.

| Condominios Pilar. They usually have a special on Thursday. Their bean soup is very good.

| On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, they offer the second meal, of equal or lesser value, at one-half price---it's a good deal for couples. And they have two choices of soup with your meals, excellent flavors. and seconds on the soup if you want. The meals are very tastefully presented. And 20 peso Margaritas during happy hour. Excelllent, cheerful servie!!!

I think they said that they will be closed around the 3rd of August. Not sure when they'll be open in September.
Great restaurant and excellent margs
On a nice cloudy cool day you can even get some exercise and rent a kayak or sailboat beforehand from me. Contact me first as I do not hang out there all day on the beach when it is slow.

They usually close for a month in the summer & assumed it was probably August & u are right about the margaritas - they are the best!!!

| Had dinner last night at Mar de Cortez & they will be closing Aug. 1 & reopening the beginning of October. Just wanted to save you the drive out there, so thought I'd pass this along.
