This afternoon we caught a lady (35ish) in our guest bedroom on our first floor. She is 5 foot tall, reddish face and about 135 lbs. My wife came down the stairs and caught her going thru things. The lady looked up, smiled and showed her a card board card saying she was poor and retarded. Two weeks ago I caught the same person lifting a 2 gallon container of Tide laundry soap out of our laundry room. We live in the Via Hermosa area on the water behind the new Pemex gas station #2. With the help of our neighbor we detained her this time and called the police. In her bag the police found a bus ticket for today from Hermosillo to Guaymas with a seat number. Plus there was other goodies she had picked up along the way including money. So she was smart enough to get all the way here on her own and knows the value of things. Retarded? The police officer said he did not think so and carted her off. She is a repeat visitor!
Main purpose is to watch the outsiders going down our streets and ducking into houses. So far it does not seem like a dangerous threat and only petty thief. Lets hope it does not escalate!
