| There is no Dry Ice available in San Carlos or Guaymas. The only place I know about is in Hermosillo, it's an Oxygen Company out by the Ford Plant.

I looked on the internet and found a company that produces medical O2 and also dry ice among other things. They have many locations including one in Guaymas. Although that one doesn't list dry ice as being available, perhaps they could bring it it for you from another of their locations. Their main office seems to be in Nogales and since dry ice is light, it shouldn't cost too much to have it shipped, maybe by bus.

| Why/what for, do you need dry ice. I researched this subject as it relates to SC a couple of years ago. Perhaps I can help.

We have some package items that need to remain cold or frozen, and no mechanical freezer.
No big deal, just was curious if there was a place just in case.

| I see no reason why ordinary ice would not work for you for up to a week in a good cooler and it is cheap if you buy it in bulk bags. If a week is not long enough just use two coolers and repack. If you add salt to it you can actually freeze stuff. Please note that you cannot transport dry ice by air.

| Sprinkling rock (ice cream) salt directly in with layers of ice and frozen fillets works pretty good. I usually pack up the cooler right before leaving, and have bottles of water that are actually frozen by the time we get home to Phoenix, even in the summer.
