Nice news -- thanks for passing it on. Thing is... that relieves one major bottleneck, but what does it do for the one at Mariposa? Dunno.

Please note that these posts are dated in 2007. BH checkpoint is open or will be very shortly. I understand funding for an expansion of Maripopa crossing has been obtained but have not seen a timetable on construction.

Funny thing is, BH is open but the last time I went through (last week) the lineup of trucks was still long. My wife counted 90 trucks waiting.
